This course serves as an introduction to the hazards and risks involved in the use of hazardous substances. It enables the user to understand the purpose and meaning of a COSHH assessment.

COURSE 5: PRINCIPLES OF MANUAL HANDLING

This course serves as an introduction to the hazards and risks involved in manual handling and outlines what to expect from a manual handling assessment.

COURSE 6: RISK ASSESSMENT PRINCIPLES & PRACTICE

Employers and the self-employed have a legal duty to assess the risks to the health and safety of all who may be affected by what they do in the workplace. This one day course ensures that anyone involved has the depth of understanding to carry out the risk assessment process.

COURSE 7: SAFETY FOR MANAGERS

Many managers or supervisors have health and safety obligations placed upon them and yet have little idea of what these entail. This one day course provides a closer look at manager’s responsibilities and provides the basic knowledge to be able to effectively manage these obligations.
